I had a Cute Overload revelation last night. I clicked over for a quick Cute Treatment before bed and saw this little critter:

As I looked at the adorable little beady-eyed possum-pants, I kept thinking...that possum reminds me of someone. Then it hit me: Amy Winehouse.

Same beady eyes, same eyeliner, same elongated snout, mouth full of sharp teeth. All the little Winepossum needs is a bouffant hair-do. Am I wrong?

I have a possum who lives in my yard and eats the catfood I put out for the stray (?) cat. The thing is getting so used to being fed that it hardly bothers to run away any more when I come outside while it's eating.

I'd much rather have the possum living in my yard than Amy Winehouse.

Good choice, Lisa. Having AW living in your backyard would be icky. I was going to posit that she might also eat more cat food, but now that I think about it, perhaps not.

It's just great to see everyone judging a young woman on her physical appearance. Maybe tomorrow we can all laugh at Kirstie Ally and how fat she got. As it so happens, I'm covering one of Chelsea Clinton's speaking engagements tomorrow, so if any of you have anything you'd like me to pass along in the general vein of today's discussion, now's the time.

I don't think we are judging her on her appearance. I think we are judging her on her actions such as drug use. The post merely compares her appearance to a cute possum seen on Cute Overload, a site most of us view on a daily basis. Personally I think the possum is very cute but does look a bit like Amy W. I also honestly think that Amy W is not that attractive, more because of the too much make up, too little clothes, too skinny, hair that generally looks like mice have been nesting in it for years etc. I think she is very talented but needs some rehab and possibly some psychoactive drugs. Oh yeah and a make over and possibly some food.

Actually I think Chelsea Clinton has been very much maligned over the years especially by faux newz. I like her and think she has been very graceful in the face of the press.

I just think she looks like a baby possum.
